Rare during summer months. White-winged Tern (Chlidonias leucopterus) breeding pairs at Struzani bog ponds, Rezekne county (G.Grandans, A.Erts, U.Lolans). Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata) 1 singing at Liepari surroundings, Rugaji county, new place (K.Millers). 26.06.2014. Razorbill (Alca torda) 4 (2 pairs) in the sea at Kolka lighthouse surroundings with territorial behavior, Dundaga county (K.Millers, A.Karklins). Rare during summer months.
25.06.2014. Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) 5 at Babite lake W coast, Babite county (V. and E.Smislovs).
22.06.2014. Pied Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) 1 at Liepaja lake E coast shoreline, Grobina county (J.Jansons).
21.06.2014. Little Crake (Porzana parva) >10 singing at Zvejsala-Lodani fish ponds in pond G3, Rezekne county (A.Platais).
20.06.2014. Little Bittern (Ixobrychys minutus) >3 MM at Sunezers lake, Daugavpils (K.Millers, A.Erts et al.). Present since 05.06.2014., when >2 (A.Erts).
19.06.2014. Short-toed Snake Eagle (Circaetus gallicus) 1 at Gumelis, Rezekne county (K.Millers, H.Dommerholt). Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata) 4 (pair and two single birds) at Lubans lake surroundings, Madona county (K.Millers et al.). Different birds as on 04.06.2014. (K.Millers, I.Grinerte).
18.06.2014. Dunlin (Calidris alpina) 1 ad on Mangalsala pier, Riga (I.Denisovs). Rare during summer months. Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 1 shortly at Ogre (V.Roze).
17.06.2014. Black-necked Grebe (Podiceps nigricollis) 1, Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) 1 at Struzani bog ponds, Rezekne county (A.Avotins jun., D.Drazdovskis). Pied Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) 2 at Mersrags seashore, Mersrags (K.Millers). Present since 03.05.2014. (M.Strazds, I.Mardega). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 1 M at Mersrags coastal meadow, Mersrags (K.Millers et al.). Brambling (Fringilla montifringilla) 1 M singing intensive at hotel "Zitari" surroundings at Kolka, Dundaga county (K.Millers). Present since 15.06.2014. (U.Piterans). Rare during summer months.

16.06.2014. Red Kite (Milvus milvus) 1 at Ventava surroundings, Ventspils county (M.Strazds, H.Hofmanis). Pratincole sp. (Glareola pratincola/nordmanni) 1 to N over the sea at Kolka cape, Dundaga county (K.Millers et al.).
15.06.2014. Dark-bellied Brant Goose (Branta bernicla) 1 at Kolka harbor, 2 (M and F) at Kolka cape, Dundaga county (K.Millers). Late spring migrants or potential summering individuals. Can not exclude that individual at harbor is the same as on 12.06.2014. at Mersrags seaside, Mersrags (I.Grinerte). Brambling (Fringilla montifringilla) 1 singing at hotel "Zitari" surroundings at Kolka, 1 singing at Slitere lighthouse surroundings, Dundaga county (U.Piterans). Rare during summer months.
14.06.2014. European Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis) 2 (pair) at Razna National Park, Dagda county (U.Lolans, G.Grandans et al.).
12.06.2014. Dark-bellied Brant Goose (Branta bernicla) 1 at Mersrags seaside, Mersrags (I.Grinerte). Late spring migrant or potential summering individual.
10.06.2014. Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata) 3 (pair and 1 singing individual) at Priekuli parish, Priekuli county (N.Kukars). Present at least since 06.06.2014. (N.Kukars). New breeding area.
08.06.2014. European Roller (Coracias garrulus) 1 at Pape, Rucava county (J.Vigulis, I.Jakovlevs). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 1 M at Pape, Rucava county (J.Vigulis, J.Wesrtling, H.Hesswelfors).
07.06.2014. White-winged Tern (Chlidonias leucopterus) ~50 at Lubasts, >15 Liksna surroundings, Daugavpils county (V. and E.Smislovs). Crested Lark (Galerida cristata) 1 at Daugavgriva pier, Riga (A.Arnicans). Lesser Redpoll (Acanthis cabaret) 1 to SSW at Vitini meadows surroundings, Grobina county (K.Millers).
06.06.2014. European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster) 2 at Vidzeme region, NNE Latvia (A.Klepers). New breeding place found. Possibly present since 31.05.2014. (A.Vilnis).
05.06.2014. Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 1 at Lubans lake Zvidze dam bird tower, Madona county (I.Grinerte, K.Millers). Little Bittern (Ixobrychys minutus) >2 at Sunezers lake, Daugavpils (A.Erts). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 1 M at Papurne surroundings, Rugaji county (I.Grinerte, K.Millers).



04.06.2014. Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) 2 at Gumelis, Rezekne county (K.Millers, I.Grinerte). Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 1 at Druviena surroundings, Gulbenes n. (G.Grandans, K.Freibergs, I.Grinerte, K.Millers). At first singing individual observed, later the same bird with food. Potentially 3^rd proven breeding record for Latvia. Present since 03.06.2014. (G.Grandans, K.Freibergs). Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata) 3 pairs at Lubans lake surroundings, Madona county (K.Millers, I.Grinerte).

Broad-billed Sandpiper (Limicola falcinellus) 3 at Ainazi seashore, Salacgriva county (I.Grinerte, A.Klepers). Present since 31.05.2014., when 5 (G.Grandans, G.Graubics). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 1 F at Ainazi pier, Salacgriva county (I.Grinerte).
