Rare during summer months. Dunlin (Calidris alpina) 1 at Riga gulf shore at Garupe, Carnikava county (J.Vigulis). Rare in June. Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus) 28 at Vitini meadows, Grobina county (R.Rekmanis, I.Ozola).

Black-necked Grebe (Podiceps nigricollis) 1 at Orenisi - Drabaki fish ponds, Rezekne county (J.Fisk, G.Grandans et al.). Red Kite (Milvus milvus) 1 at Paplaka, Priekule county (I.Brediks, P.Daknis); 1 at Grobina rubish dump, Grobina county; 1 at Saraiki, Pavilosta county (I.Brediks, P.Daknis, E.Laucis). Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca) 1 over Zvejsala - Lodani fish ponds, Rezekne county (J.Ashton-Booth, G.Grandans et al.). 4th record for Latvia and 1st visually observed. Previous three according to satellite tracking data. Dunlin (Calidris alpina) 2 at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs). Earliest first "autumn" migrant record. Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) < 4 pairs at Zvejsala - Lodani fish ponds, Rezekne county (G.Grandans et al.). At least since 01.06.2016. when 2 pairs (K.Millers, L.Evans et al.).

Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) 2 at lake Liepaja, near Mailrags, Nica county (R.Rekmanis, I.Ozola). Brambling (Fringilla montifringilla) 1 singing male at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs). Present since 10th June (I.Denisovs). Rare in summer.

Prersent at W Latvia since 02.06.2016. when at Grobina rubish dump (A.Olups). 8th record for Latvia. Booted Warbler (Iduna caligata) couple at Krustpils, Jekabpils (J.Skrinda).
