Marsh Sandpiper (Tringa stagnatilis) 2 in the puddle at Murani surroundings E Latvia, Rikava county, 1 flew over at Orenisi - Drabaki fish ponds, Rezekne county (K.Millers, D. & B.Grundy). Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) 1 at Orenisi - Drabaki fish ponds, Rezekne county (K.Millers, D. & B.Grundy). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 4 (3 MM & 1 F) Zvjsala - Lodani fish ponds, Rezekne county (K.Millers, D. & B.Grundy). Present since 16.04.2018., when 6 MM & 1 F (K.Millers, G.Grandans).

19.05.2018. Red-footed Falcon (Falco vespertinus) 1 ad M at Seda bog, Strenci county (M.Jaunzemis et al.). Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) 2 feeding at Silzemnieki fields, Burtnieku county ( I.Mardega et al.).
16.05.2018. Little Bittern (Ixobrychus minutus) 1 M at Orenisi - Drabaki fish ponds, Rezekne county (P.Daknis et al.). Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) 1 trapped and ringed at Lauteri, Salacgriva county (G.Graubics).
14.05.2018. Steppe Eagle (Aquila nipalensis) 1 at Kolka, Dundaga county (G.Grandans et al.). 2^nd record for Latvia. Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) 1 over Engure lake, Engure county (P.Daknis et al.). European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster) 1 heard at Kolka, Dundaga county (G.Grandans et al.).
13.05.2018. Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 2 singing at Vertezi forest, Saldus county (M.Jaunzemis). Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 1 M in the meadow at Stunisi, Olaine county (A.Platais). Red-throated Pipit (Anthus cervinus) 2 MM and 1 F/2cy locally at Aliteni surroundings, Vecpiebalga county (A.Klepers, S.Laime).
12.05.2018. Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina) 2 MM (1 M at WSW part + 1 M at W part) at at Kanieris lake, Engure county (K.Millers, P.Palmer et al.). On 24.04.2018. 2 MM at Kanieris lake boat station, Engure county (I.Brediks, K.Funts et al.). Pallid Harrier (Circus macrourus) 1 2cy migrating at Kolka, Dundaga county (I.Brediks). Photos compared - different individual as on 10. and 11.05.2018. (K.Millers, P.Palmer). Red-footed Falcon (Falco vespertinus) 1 2cy at Kolka, Dundaga county (I.Brediks). White-winged Tern (Chlidonias leucopterus) >1 hunting shortly over Kanieris lake with Black terns (Chlidonias niger),Engure county (K.Millers). Red-footed Falcon (Falco vespertinus) 1 ad M + 1 ad F + 1 2cy at Kolka, Dundaga county (P.Palmer, K.Millers et al.). 2cy presumed the same as on 09.05.2018. (K.Millers, P.Palmer). Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybrida) >7 at Satini fish ponds, Saldus county (M.Jaunzemis). Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) 1 Suda bog, Ligatne county (S. Laime). Crested Lark (Galerida cristata) 1 shortly over "Usi" at Kolka and after to SE, Dundaga county (K.Millers). Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 1 singing and observed visually at Valgums lake, Engure county (K.Millers). Marsh Warbler (Acrocephalus palustris) 1 singing at Zvanu cliffs, Cesis (S. Rosy Starling (Pastor roseus) 1 ad M with 7 Common Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) shortly over Kolka Cape, Dundaga county (K.Millers, P.Palmer et al.). 8^th record for Latvia. Citrine Wagtail (Motacilla citreola) 3 (1 + 1 F + 1 M) migrating with Yellow Wagtails (Motacilla flava) at Kolka Cape, Dundaga county (K.Millers, P.Palmer). Red-throated Pipit (Anthus cervinus) 1 observed visually migrating together with Yellow Wagtails (Motacilla flava) at Kolka Cape, Dundaga county (K.Millers), 1 at Eimuri surroundings, Adazi county (G.Graubics, E.Gulbe).

07.05.2018. Pink-footed Goose (Anser brachyrhynchus) 1 at Marsneni surroundings, Priekuli county (S. Laime).
06.05.2018. Firecrest (Regulus ignicapilla) 1 singing at Kemeri S part next to Kauguri canal, Tukums county (U.Piterans). Barred Warbler (Sylvia nisoria) 1 M trapped and ringed at Nereta surroundings, Nereta county (K.Funts). 3^rd earliest spring migrant record.
05.05.2018. Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 1 next to puddle together with Been Geese (Anser sp.) and Whooper Swans (Cygnus cygnus) at Stelpe surroundings, Vecumnieki county (M.Kilups, A.Ezerniece). Marsh Sandpiper (Tringa stagnatilis) 2 at Orenisi - Drabaki fish ponds, Rezekne county (I.Grinerte, K.Millers).
