Lapland Longspur (Calcarius lapponicus) 1 at seashore near Liepaja harbor S pier together with Snow Buntings (Plectrophenax nivalis), Liepaja (G.Grandans, M.Strazds), 1 on Mangalsala pier Riga (S.Rabkevics). Latest autumn records for Lapland Longspurs. Lapland Longspur on Mangalsala pier present since 10.11.2011. (I.Denisovs). Twite (Carduelis flavirostris) 26 on Golodova dam, Liepaja lake (M.Strazds).

Purple Sandpiper (Calidris maritima) 1 1cy on Mangalsala pier, Riga. 28th record for Latvia. Lapland Longspur (Calcarius lapponicus) 1 on Mangalsala pier together with Snow Buntings (Plectrophenax nivalis). Late autumn record for Lapland Longspur. Both obs. I. Denisovs.

Red-throated Loon (Gavia stellata) 1 at Riga HES basin, Salaspils county (A.Klepers). Rare inland during autumn migration. White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) 1 on field at Jaunmarupe, Marupe county (A.Pavlovska). Since 15.10. - 07.11. there were two birds. Extremely late autumn record.

Horned Grebe (Podiceps auritus) 1 near Golodova dam, Liepaja lake (K.Millers). First known record of this species in Liepaja lake at least during last eight years! Dunlin (Calidris alpina) 2 (ad and 1cy with damaged leg) at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs). 3rd latest autumn record. Present since 06.11.2011. (I.Denisovs et. al). Carrion Crow (Corvus corone) 1 at Liepaja seashore, near harbor S pier, Liepaja (K.Millers). Still present at this place at least since 09.06.2008. (I.Mednis). Horned Lark (Eremophila alpestris) 1 shortly at seashore near Liepaja harbor S pier, then migrated S, Liepaja (K.Millers).

Dunlin (Calidris alpina) 2 (ad and 1cy with damaged leg) at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs et. al). Late autumn record. Ural Owl (Strix uralensis) 1 2cy F trapped and ringed at Pape B.O., Rucava county (I.Jansone et.al). First for Pape B.O. and so far to SW of Latvia!!!
