27.11.2016. Leach's Storm Petrel (Oceanodroma leucorhoa) 1 to SSW at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs). 7^th record for Latvia. Great Bittern (Botaurus stellaris) flight-call heard at Rudbarzi, Skrunda county (R.Rekmanis). Late autumn record.
26.11.2016. Velvet Scoter (Melanitta fusca) 2 1cy at Laucini quarry, Cesis, Cesis county (S.Laime). Rare inland. Pomarine Skua (Stercorarius pomarinus) 1 1cy to SW; Common Murre (Uria aalge) 1 migrating N at Ziemupe, Pavilosta county (R.Rekmanis).
25.11.2016. Gadwall (Anas strepera) M and F local at Liepaja lake opposite Ezerkrasts bird tower, Liepaja (R.Rekmanis). Late autumn record.
24.11.2016. Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) 23 local at Liepaja lake opposite Ezerkrasts bird tower, Liepaja (R.Rekmanis). Common Scoter (Melanitta nigra) 2 at lake Stameriena, Gulbene county (B.Puspure). Rare inland. Pomarine Skua (Stercorarius pomarinus) 2 to SSW at Mangalsala, Riga (I.Denisovs).

23.11.2016. Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) 1 on Liepaja harbor S pier, Liepaja (R.Rekmanis). Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus) 1 local at Jurkalne surroundings, Ventspils county (R.Rekmanis). Late autumn records for both species.
21.11.2016. Arctic Redpoll (Acanthis hornemanni) 1 ad M trapped and ringed at Ainazi, Salacgriva county (A.Kalvans).
20.11.2016. Horned Grebe (Podiceps auritus) at least 4 at Kesterciems off-shore, Engure county (I.Brediks). Velvet Scoter (Melanitta fusca) 1 at Stameriena lake, Gulbene county (B.Puspure). Rare inland. Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus) 1 1cy at Liepaja harbor S pier, Liepaja (M.Jaunzemis, A. & L.Mankus). Present since 18^th November. (E.Laucis, G.Grandans).
19.11.2016. Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) 1 at Daugavpils (A.Erts). Present since 12^th November; 2 - on 18^th November (A.Erts); 1 at Cesis, Cesis county (S.Laime). Present since 3^rd November (S.Laime). Late autumn records. Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) 1 at Golodova dam, Liepaja (E.Laucis, G.Grandans). Late autumn record.

Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus) 1 1cy at Liepaja harbor S pier, Liepaja (E.Laucis, G.Grandans). Common Murre (Uria aalge) 3 (2 +1) migrating S at Akmensrags, Pavilosta county (G.Grandans, E.Laucis). Carrion Crow (Corvus corone) 1 at Atmodas blvd., Liepaja (G.Grandans, E.Laucis). Present at least since 15.10.2011. (D.Krigens). Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros) 2 at Daugavpils (A.Erts). Present since 12^th November (A.Erts). Late autumn record.


13.11.2016. Black-throated Loon (Gavia arctica) 1 at Daugava river against Cerepova, 1 at Rugeli water reservoir, Daugavpils (A.Erts). Rare inland. Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) 9 flying N counted at Akmensrags, Pavilosta county (R.Rekmanis). Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) 33 in two trees at Parupe str., Bauska (E.Laucis). Large number at one place. Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) 1 at Darzini, Riga (J.Vigulis). Late autumn record. Lesser Redpoll (Acanthis cabaret) 1 1cy trapped and ringed at Birzgale, Kegums county (D.Boiko).

08.11.2016. Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) 1 at Zirgu islet, Liepaja (R.Rekmanis). Siberian Accentor (Prunella montanella) 1 observed at Jaungulbene, Gulbene county (U.Lolans). 8^th record for Latvia and 1^st inland.
07.11.2016. White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) 1 on the nest at Krote surroundings, Priekule county (R.Rekmanis, I.Ozola).
05.11.2016. Black Guillemot (Cepphus grylle) 1 in sea at Kolka, Dundaga county (G.Grandans, I.Brediks). Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus) 3 together observed visually at Shunezers lake, Daugavpils (A.Erts). Latest autumn record. Common Redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus) 1 observed at Sunezers lake surroundings, Daugavpils (A.Erts). Repeated latest autumn record. Lesser Redpoll (Acanthis cabaret) 1 ad M trapped and ringed at Birzgale surroundings, Kegums county (D.Boiko).

Tree Pipit (Anthus trivialis) 1 observed visually at Pape lake S end, Rucava county (R.Rekmanis). Latest autumn record! Lapland Longspur (Calcarius lapponicus) 4 migrating S at Pape Lake S end, Rucava county (R.Rekmanis). Arctic Redpoll (Acanthis hornemanni) 2 together with 150 Common Redpolls (Acanthis flammea) and Siskins (Spinus spinus); Serin (Serinus serinus) 1 migrating S at Pape Lake S end, Rucava county (R.Rekmanis). Late autumn record for Serin.
